About the Event

Est. 2022

The RMHC Pickleball Classic was born from a simple idea: bring people together for a fun, inclusive event that makes a meaningful difference for families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.

What began in October 2022 has since grown into a cherished annual tradition—made possible by the vision and generosity of BAMCO McDonald’s and a passionate network of McDonald’s Owner/Operators and local business leaders who believe deeply in the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

At the heart of this effort is Colleen VanBlarcom of BAMCO, whose leadership and compassion have helped shape this event from day one. Alongside the full BAMCO team and other dedicated Owner/Operators, she continues to champion the cause, ensuring the tournament is not only a success, but a heartfelt celebration of community, connection, and care.

Together with local businesses who step up year after year, this incredible group shares a common purpose: to help provide a home-away-from-home for families with critically ill children receiving medical care in Rochester and beyond.

For them, supporting RMHC isn’t just about giving back—it’s personal.
